The LSU Tigers may not have won any championships this past season, but a handful of their former players are going to look to make it into the NFL record books as they just made it to the Super Bowl with the New England Patriots.
The Patriots beat the Denver Broncos 10-7 on Sunday afternoon in a game that featured a second half with blizzard-like conditions. With that win, four former Tigers booked their tickets to San Francisco and Super Bowl LX.

WR Kayshon BoutteOne of the best stories in football right now is Boutte moving past the rough end to his college career and (now dropped) gambling charges last year to become a real NFL wide receiver.
He was viewed as the next great receiver to come from the Tigers program at one point, but never progressed past the highs of his freshman campaign. He played in just 17 games over his final two years and had just over 500 yards in each season.
His draft stock had plummeted, but Boutte was ready to leave college, so he declared for the draft anyway. He went in the sixth round to New England.

OT Will CampbellA great rookie campaign for Campbell as he stepped in from the No. 4 overall pick to anchor the left side of the line from Day 1 for the Super Bowl-bound Patriots, protecting Drake Maye.
It hasn't been a perfect season for him or anything, but it has been about as good as one could ask for. That won't come as a surprise to anyone who talked to or watched Campbell play in Baton Rouge.

The Texas native had five sacks over four seasons with the Jaguars. It always felt like he had more in the tank, though. The Las Vegas Raiders brought him on to their practice squad last year and he ended up with five sacks.
The Patriots then gave him a one-year deal before this season and he has looked like a new player. He logged 7.5 sacks with 10 TFLs and led the team in pressures.

It should not come as a real surprise, but he has not really been a contributor this season. He has appeared a couple of times, but also spent some time on the practice squad.
Still, this will be a great experience for him and a chance to be around important football and learning.
DT Jaquelin RoyRoy is a similar story to Swinson in that he won't really play in the game, but he will get a ring if the team wins it.
The Baton Rouge native was placed on injured reserve before the season and never appeared. He played a little bit for New England last season.
