On Sunday, Jan. 25, the newly hired Florida A&M head football coach announced his inaugural coaching staff in a Facebook post.
“Years of experience, proven winners, and undeniable relationships that will keep us grounded in work and make sure that every person that touches this program is ‘ALL IN’ and ready to Restore the Strike,” Gray posted.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementKey hires include defensive coordinator Ryan Lewis Sr., who guided Alabama State units to top finishes in the Football Championship Subdivision during his two-year tenure from 2022 to 2024. He was most recently the cornerbacks coach at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
A familiar name in Tallahassee, Ron Dugans, is also on Gray’s staff. The former Florida State Seminoles wide receiver, assistant coach, and FAMU High School football star is the Rattlers’ new receivers coach and pro scout liaison.
